Veterinary acupuncture
Acupuncture can be beneficial for acute or chronic conditions such as osteoarthritis, back problems, injuries but also neurological problems like for instance facial paralysis. Acupuncture stimulates the body's self-healing capacity and relieves pain naturally. I also provide laser acupuncture for needle shy pets and additional herbal treatments. it is important to realise these treatments are not replacing traditional veterinary medicine but can be a great addition and improve your pets quality of life.
Laser Therapy
Painless and effective: therapeutic laser promotes rapid wound healing, reduces inflammation, and helps with both acute injuries and chronic joint problems in animals (and humans!). There are also beneficial effects for conditions like Intervertebral Disc Disease, cognitive dysfunction syndrome and behavioural issues like anxiety.
Quality of life assessments
Timing of making the decision to put your pet to sleep is never easy. I can come to your home to meet you and your pet and discuss everything with you.
Euthanasia at home
Saying goodbye when you and your pet are ready. In your own familiar home environment, I offer a gentle and stress-free end for your beloved pet.
For horses I also offer to be there for support and optional sedation if you opt for free humane dispatch by a trained professional of the local crematorium.
